DIMAPUR, FEB 26 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has condemned the Military Junta of Myanmar in the strongest possible terms for conducting heavy operations against what it termed as the ‘Free Eastern Naga people’ at the behest of the Government of India by getting military equipments to wipe out the Naga populace to occupy the free areas of the Nagas.
“Both the Governments’ interest is to occupy the virgin land of the Nagas to explore and extract the rich mineral resources which is the largest in the world at this stage to uplift their economies illegally”, stated Mhasi Angami, Information & Publicity Wing NNC.
Pointing out that the Government of India and the Military Junta of Myanmar with secret military understanding in complete violation of the International Laws wanted to wipe out the Naga race for their military and economic interest in the SouthEast Asia Region.
“Therefore, the NNC earnestly appeal to the community of Nations in the world who stand for the Human rights violation to condemn and intervene in this matter of genocide action against the Nagas of free Eastern Nagaland which is still free and never join the union of Myanmar”, the NNC stated.
