DIMAPUR, APRIL 2 (MExN): The Naga National Council on 29th March 2011 thoroughly deliberated on the matter of communication problem with Dr. Senka Yaden the President of NNC who is in America and an urgent need of Working President in the Home front. And basing on this political necessity at this crucial stage of political environment prevailing in the Homeland, the House unanimously elected Gen. (Retd I. Panger Walling) to be the Working President of NNC in the Naga Homeland for smooth functioning of the NNC office as well as to save the political situation. This was informed in a press note issued by the NNC Information & Publicity Wing. “The election was conducted with proper procedures and rules of NNC as the custom and tradition of NNC election. This is to inform all concerned in the Homeland and abroad for official conduct of political business. May God bless our President”, stated the press note.
