DIMAPUR, JUNE 6 (MExN): Taking into consideration the recent disagreement within the NNC/PB (Z Royim) group, the Naga National Political Alliance (NNPA) denounced the actions of the “dissident group” and claimed that the NNC/PB is intact under the president-ship of Z Royim.
In a press release, the NNPA co-ordinator Nillo Sheyipu on Thursday said it does not condone further fragmentation of the Naga political groups, and maintained that the Alliance remains intact with active participation of all stakeholders.
“The NNPA re-affirms our commitment to the principle of political cohesiveness and equal participation of all the stakeholders. We believe that this inclusiveness is essential to collectively determine the future of the Naga people,” it stated.
It appealed to all stakeholders to place their faith in the NNPA and uphold the peace necessary for the progress. This will allow us to effectively continue the peace process, it added.
