Dimapur, October 18 (MExN): The NNPGs Working Committee (WC) members have expressed deep shock and anguish at the demise of T Suohu Angami, Senior Advocate. Suohu passed away on October 16 at GNRC, Guwahati.
“Late T Suohu was a prominent leader whose knowledge and understanding of the present time made him a very engaging personality. He minced no words when required. He offered sound legal advice on all issues be it historical, political, social or economic,” stated a condolence message from N Kitovi Zhimomi, convener, NNPGs Working Committee.
The Committee expressed sadness that a vibrant personality has been taken away from their midst. “His clear political vision, his patriotic utterances and active participation in Nation-building measures will surely be missed,” the message added.
Meanwhile, the Committee prayed that God Almighty will grant strength to the family to “bear the loss of a wonderful husband and loving father.”
The members of the Dimapur Bar Association (DBA) in a separate message also expressed shock and pain over the sudden demise of Theyiechütuo Thomas Suohu (Advocate Suohu). “The DBA expresses a sense of grave loss on the demise of a prominent and a charismatic member of the legal fraternity who has been an inspirational figure amongst legal practitioners,” stated DBA president, Imti Imsong and general secretary, A Hukavi Zhimomi.
The Bar Association remembered the deceased as a proficient and true officer of Justice with vast experience and knowledge, who stood for truth and justice as a lawyer. His demise has left a vacuum in the legal fraternity, it stated and further conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty God give them solace at this painful time.
