Dimapur, May 22 (MExN): Finally vaporizing the dizzying speculation that the NPF-led Democratic Alliance of Nagaland was about to join the United Progressive Front at the center, DAN won’t be. “We are not joining the UPA or NDA (BJP-led National Democratic Alliance). We had not joined or facilitated either the UPA or the NDA. We have only given unconditional support to the UPA,” said Planning Minister TR Zeliang today. “The PM was happy (on DAN’s support to it)” he added. Rajya Sabha MP Khekiho Zhimomi also reiterated Zeliang’s toeline: ‘It is only unconditional support. We have not joined the UPA’ he said. Both Zeliang and Zhimomi were with Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio when the DAN chief called on Delhi.
