‘No work no pay’ for casual employees of Nagaland Secretariat

KOHIMA, DEC 5 (DIPR): Nagaland Government has decided to apply ‘No Work No Pay’ for casual employees of Civil Secretariat with effect from the salary of November 2005. The decision was taken following reports that some casual employees are regularly drawing their salaries without attending their offices which the Government viewed seriously. Procedures adopted by the Government for application of ‘No Work No Pay’ said, all salaries of casual employees shall be disbursed from the Bill and Cash Branch (Home). 

The concerned casual employees shall submit a xerox copy of the attendance register of the preceding month along with an authorization letter for payment of salary from his/her respective controlling officer, without which salary will not be disbursed. An office memorandum to this effect was issued by Principal Secretary (Home), Banuo Z Jamir in Kohima recently.
