Hand washing demonstration at GPS Station, Noksen Town as part of launching programme of Rashtriya Poshan Maah held at Noksen on September 11.
Noksen, September 16 (MExN): The launching programme of Rashtriya Poshan Maah organised by Noksen ICDS Project was administered by Hotolu Sema SDO (Civil), Noksen and Chairman at Noksen Headquarter on September 11.
The SDO (Civil) Noksen shared on the importance of nutrition and its benefits.
CDPO, Noksen A Andikundang Chang in her keynote address highlighted on Poshan Maah, identification of Severe Acute Malnutrition/Moderate Acute Malnutrition (SAM/MAM) children and development of kitchen garden in Anganwadi Centres (AWCs).
A seminar was also organised under the project for the youths on the topic ‘impact of nutrition on human growth and support of AWCs’ with more than 70 participants. Sanitary pads were distributed to adolescent girls and hand washing demonstration was conducted at GPS Station, Noksen Town.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Longshen, Sr Supervisor Noksen ICDS project.
