North East on Wheels-Myna group bikers meets Nagaland Governor

KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): North East on Wheels Season -2 Myna group bikers reached Raj Bhavan, Kohima on November 22. They met the Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan and shared their experiences of their travel through the region. 

A press communiqué from PRO Raj Bhavan informed that the Governor expressed his happiness and appreciation to the bikers for sharing their experiences and ideas. He urged the participants to act as guardians for their Naga brothers and sisters staying outside the state.

Chairman, Amazing Namaste Foundation (ANF) Atul Kulkarni who highlighted on the visit said their journey is a 10-day expedition through all the major cities and towns in the 4 states of the North-East namely Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland.

Season-2 includes 45 participants from different parts of the country and professional backgrounds, who are divided into three groups and named after the birds and animals found in the North-East region namely rhino, falcon and Myna. 

The idea is to showcase the natural beauty and rich cultural traditions and hospitality of the people of the region. The bikers during their journey interacted with young entrepreneurs, tribal leaders and different groups of people for better understanding of the ecosystem. They intend to utilize social media platforms through which the audience will be able to view and read the amazing stories of hitherto unexplored facets of the communities here.

The three groups will then assemble at Kaziranga to share their experiences and will return to Guwahati. The Myna group is led by Mrityunjay Tripathi. This season -2 was flagged off on November 17. 

The interaction was attended by Ani Yepthomi from Livingstone Foundation International school Dimapur, Deepika Hukato Naga CMD HN Company, President Ethnic group of Nagaland (EGON) D. Ledia Awomi, Founder Lio House of Aesthetic Dr Lika Kikheto Yeptho  and Coffee entrepreneur Zakeitsono Jamir and others.
