Our Correspondent Kohima | October 23 The 5th 10 Northern Angami - 1 T-20 Bash 2017 will begin from November 21 at the Kohima Village Ground, Ziekezou. Making the announcement today, Organizing Committee convenor, Diethonguzo Miachieo said that 16 teams have signed up for the three-week long tournament. It is being organised under the aegis of the Brotherhood Group under the theme ‘Bat for unity’. The objective of the tournament is to develop the game, foster friendship and unity among the youths of the constituency. The tournament carries a total cash prize of Rs. 1.5 lakh for the champions and the runners-up teams. There will be additional incentives for the Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Man of the Series and also the Best Disciplined Team, it was added. Two new teams will be in the fray this time with Themezie-Peraciezie Titans replacing High School Daredevils and Keyake-Phezoucha Pirates replacing Mission Compounds Dukes.
