Northern Angami Students’ Union honours student toppers

Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) felicitated the toppers of the HSLC and HSSLC 2025 examinations in a ceremony held at Ura Academy on May 9.

Er Vipulhou Lhoungu, Director, Technical Education and President of the Northern Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (NAGOK) reminded the students that their achievements marked not the end but the beginning of a new journey. He urged them to place their trust in God, seek divine guidance in their decisions, and remain steadfast in their faith. Sharing his personal experiences, he said, "You are very safe with God. If you trust and obey Him, nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams." 

He further encouraged the students to remain humble and committed to hard work in all their endeavors. 

NAWO President Kedisenuo Keditsu addressed the gathering, and encouraged the students to work hard on their endeavours toward a bright future. Keluosenuo Suokhrie, who secured the fourth position in the HSLC exams, delivered a message on behalf of the toppers, expressing gratitude and determination for the road ahead. 

Ruokuose-ü Sanchu presented special song. NASU Vice President Khrieketouzo Pienyü delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all involved. 

Vimezo Chakrüno, Education Secretary of NASU, chaired the programme, while Eno Kevidzenyü Mere, Assistant Professor at Shalom Bible Seminary, began the proceedings with an invocation. NASU President Meteitoulie Talie extended a warm welcome to all attendees. 

A total of ten academic achievers were honored during the ceremony.
