Notice for objection to renaming Kusong, Nokyan,Dan and Pangsha under Tuengsang

Dimapur, July 4 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang District has notified all concern that the following villages under Tuensang district would be registered and recognized under their stated names under the Government of Nagaland. Objection, if any, to the recognition of the said area/villages may be filed in written form within 30 days-time from the date of issue of this notice, informed TC Sangtam, IAS, DC Tuensang. Otherwise, the said villages/areas will be recognized under procedures laid by the government on expiry of the stipulated 30 days. 

The administration had received an application for recognition of Kusong Sector as Kusong Village by bifurcating from Noklak Village, as Kusong sector is part of Noklak Village which is presently under the Noklak Village administration, DC Sangtam stated. The area of land as per the survey report is 69 Acres (28 Hectares) i.e., 282120 Square Kilometers, with the following boundaries:

East: Noklak Village

West: Pangkhaanmong  

North: Peidongtem Yam

South: Panso Yam 

Also, it was notified that Nokyan ‘B’ which is part of Nokyan village is to be recognized as Nokyan ‘B’ Village under the jurisdiction of Noklak Sub-division and to be registered under the Government of Nagaland. Objection, if any, to the recognition of the said village may be filed in written form within 30 days-time from the date of issue of this notice. Otherwise, the said village will be recognized as Nokyan ‘B’ Village under procedures laid by the government on expiry of the stipulated 30 days. 

The administration had received an application for recognition of Nokyan B’ Village by bifurcating from Nokyan Village as Nokyan ‘B’, DC Sangtam stated. The area of land as per the survey report is 83 Acres, 339920 Square Kilometers, with the following boundaries:

East: Wonsoi

West: Nokyan

North: Pangsha

South: Noklak Village.

Further, Application had been received from elders of Dan for recognition as a village. The village is adjacent to the International Trade Centre (ITC, DAN). The area of land as per survey report is 27 hectares (67 acres), 271160 Square Kilometers with the following boundaries:

East: International Boundary

West: Lang River

North: Shinnyu Village

South: Pangsha Village  

Objection, if any, for recognition of the said village may be filed in written within 30 days from the date of this issue. Otherwise, the said area will be recognized as Dan Village under procedures laid by the government on expiry of the stipulated 30 days.

Relatively, the Tuensang DC also issued a notice that New Pangsha which is part of Pangsha village is to be recognized as New Pangsha under Noklak Jurisdiction. Objection, if any may be filed in written within 30 days of issuance of this notice. Otherwise the said village will be recognized as new Pangsha Village.

The area of land as per the survey report is 34 hectares (86 acres), 349800 square Kilometers with the following boundaries:
East: Myanmar Boundary (international boundary)

West: Nokyan Village

North: Pangsha old Village
South: Wonsoi Village.
