November Blooms kicks off in Kohima

November Blooms, a series of events ‘celebrating music and arts’ kicked off on November 6 at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma.

The event, managed by imagi.NATION, will be held every Saturday in the month of November (13, 20, 27) from 3pm onwards. 

According to the organiser, the November 6 edition was a destination for ‘collectors, book lovers, foodies, music aficionados’ with over 20 Pop up stalls enlivening the event.   

An Open Mic competition also witnessed lively performances from with dancers and singers as they vie for a gift hamper which was sponsored by NN Ventures.

It also featured an impromptu performance by Theja Meru, Advisor Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland.  
The organiser further informed that for shopaholics, the event had a number of fashionable and quirky stuff to choose from while for music lovers, a series of live bands performed at 6pm. 

It also catered to the foodies with a huge variety of scrumptious food, it said. 

November Blooms, to be held every Saturday leading upto Hornbill 2021, will have special guests from Latvia as well as choral performances on November 13, the organiser added.
