NPCC pays tribute to former PM Indira Gandhi

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) President, S Supongmeren Jamir alongwith newly appointed All India Congress Committee Minority Department National Coordinator & former Chairman of Nagaland PCC Minority Department, Rajesh Kumar Sethi paid floral tribute to former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi on her martyrdom day at the Congress Headquarters in Delhi on October 30. 

On the occasion, the All India Mahila Congress under the presidentship of Netta D'Souza organised ‘Bharat Ki Beti’ Blood Donation Camp where Jamir and Jain donated their blood and said that “Indira ji's blood was useful for the country, our blood will also be useful for the country”. 

Earlier in the morning, both Jamir and Sethi paid obeisance at the Shakti Sthal of Indira ji's Samadhi Rajghat, Delhi along with National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and many leaders of Congress.
