Dimapur, February 7 (MExN): The NPF, 5 Ghaspani – II Assembly Constituency (AC) held an emergency meeting at the President (Women/Wing) residence on February 5 in Medziphema town.
A thorough discussion and deliberation was held over the A/C parallel party issue, where the party resolved to once again request and approach the State Party Central Office (Kohima) leaders and the Competent Authority to authenticate the recommendation of the Review Committee Dimapur Division over the parallel party set up of NPF, 5 Ghaspani – II A/C, which was still kept in abeyance and pending till date.
Out of the 5 A/Cs of Dimapur Division, while 4 A/Cs had already been authenticated and served approval order, it questioned why 5 Ghaspani – II A/C issue was kept in abeyance and pending, stating that the loyalist party officials faced inconvenience and grievances to boldly work in the party’s interest.
The house has appealed to the Party High Command and Party Central Office leaders to resolve their office bearers’ case on or before February, stating that the loyalists had no other choice but to resort and stick to the representation submitted to the Review Committee Dimapur Division on October 12, 2018.
Also on the present Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) which was adversely affecting the entire North East region, particularly Nagaland, the house resolved to support the Party Central Office and CEC meeting resolution in the CAB issue. This was stated in a press release issued by Neisiehuno Rino, President (Women Wing), M Alen Singson, General Secretary (Admin) and Puvilie Zumvu, President (Youth Wing) NPF 5 Ghaspani – II A/C.
