NPF 9th Kohima Town AC consultative meeting held

Kohima, March 24 (MExN): Naga People's Front (NPF), 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency (AC) held its Consultative Meeting at NPF Division Office Kohima on March 24.

Former MLA Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire told party members that to create a feeling of closeness and oneness, one should meet more often and share views, ideas.

Menuovilie Kesiezie, COB Vice President Kohima Division encouraged everyone to work hard for the party and asked everyone to work towards finding the best candidate for the upcoming election.

9th Kohima Town AC President Metekhrielie Mejura called the members to seriously take Politics as one important institute and move ahead jointly as a team, as a family, to work diligently in iIntegrity and in uprightness.

Mejura also urged the party members to act as a role model of the society and make small contribution towards building a good society and being responsible citizens adding that 'with power comes responsibility.'

Guonice Sirie, Vice President COB and incharge of Kohima Division spoke about good governance of the state and expressed that the party plays a major role in the governance.

Theyiekelie Tachü, Vice President COB and incharge of Kohima Division, said as Kohima being the capital of state, Kohima Town AC plays a vital role.

He urged everyone to work together for the party so that the party becomes a good example for the rest of the constituency.

He also stressed on discipline of the party as respecting each other.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Neiba Bio, Working President, Kohima Town AC while Neibau Kire, President Farmers Wing proposed vote of thanks.
