NPF adopts resolutions

DIMAPUR, FEB 3 (MExN): In its Central Executive Committee meeting held on January 31, the Nagaland People’s Front adopted seven resolutions. Deep appreciation was recorded to members of the NPF Party for “rendering invaluable contributions as members in the Consultative Committee on Peace Affairs (CCPA),” the resolutions made available here said.
The need for the ceasefire to continue was reached at. While recording appreciation to the Planning Commission of India for acknowledging the performance of the DAN, the committee congratulated the ruling alliance for making the ‘Years of Youth Empowerment (2004-05)’ a “splendid success.” 

While congratulating sportspersons for their outstanding feats in the recently concluded North East Sports Festival held at Kohima, the Part accorded appreciation to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, under whose leadership the festival turned out to be a resounding success.

The committee further congratulated the DAN government for launching the ‘Year of Farmer- 2006’ “with a calendar of activities, involving several Farmer related departments.

The seventh resolution welcomes the verdict of the Supreme Court for indicting the former Governor of Bihar “for whimsically recommending the dissolution of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.”
