DIMAPUR: The NPF Kiphire Divisional Unit let by B. Setsato Sangtam President, Chumlongse Secretary (Admn) and Liri S. Thonger Youth President along with Thsiseto DB Amahator, Yangtsathri D.B Amahator both from administration and Kipitong S.I.S from Education Department has conducted spot verification at GPS Huronger on September 2. This was stated in a press communiqué issued by the NPF Kiphire Divisional Unit.

During the visit the VEC Members, and GBs in presence of general public had said that the Deputy Inspector of Schools, Kiphire himself inspected the village and had assured to deploy available Teachers.

The statement however lamented on the inaction despite the assurance from the DIS.

The statement also informed that out of five Teachers sanctioned post, only one Teachers could stay in station who also went on leave for his father’s treatment. The school had since been suspended from August 17.

The NPF statement also alleged that DIS had selfishly transferred one of the teachers and brought in some one of his choice who later benefited by drawing his salary without performing his duties, it was alleged.

Later it was learnt that the teacher at Huronger expired and the DIS forwarded another teacher for appointment against GPS Kiphire Station ‘B’ instead of GPS Huronger.

The DIS reportedly transferred another teacher from GPS Hurong to GPS New Monger without any replacement. Another teacher was transferred to GPS Sitimi without any replacement at Huronger.

The NPF Kiphire Divisional Unit has appealed to the DIS, Kiphire to immediately re-deploy the Teachers at GPS Huronger Village as per the transfer order issued from the Directorate of Schools Education.
