NPF Dimapur Div refutes resignation of NPF 5 Ghaspani-II A/C

Dimapur, February 26 (MExN): The NPF Dimapur Division has refuted the statement on the resignation of NPF 5 Ghaspani-II A/C that appeared in the local dailies on February 26.

In a press release, Er Rhonthungo Ovung President, NPF Dimapur Division and Pusazo Luruo Vice President, NPF Central (In-charge of Dimapur Division) stated that the NPF Dimapur Division make it “clear to all concerned that NPF 5 Ghaspani-II is largely intact except for a few individuals” who for their “selfish interest” have been causing misunderstanding and confusion within the party set-up of the constituency.

“It is those few disgruntled individuals who, basing on their resignations claim that the party workers have resigned en masse but in reality, the NPF party of 5 Ghaspani-II remains intact,” it affirmed.

The party maintained that the NPF central office Kohima had set up a review committee for reconstitution of office bearers of all five assembly constituencies under Dimapur Division.

As assigned by the party's central office, the review committee was in the process of submitting a final report. However, “a few individuals of 5 Ghaspani-II A/C who are aware of the fact that their names will be left out in the list of new office bearers” because of their “anti-party activities” were resorting to false and unethical practices to mislead the public in general and the party loyalists in particular “by claiming that the NPF party workers of 5 Ghaspani-II have resigned en masse.”

The NPF Dimapur Division thus, termed the statement as “baseless and misleading” and appealed to all the committed NPF party workers, “especially of 5 Ghaspani-II A/C not to be disheartened because of such statements.”
