NPF divisions on NCP legislators’ decision

Dimapur, January 14 (MExN): The NPF Dimapur division has welcomed the decision of the two NCP legislators along with the party workers to merge with the Naga People’s Front.
“Their joining the NPF has not only strengthened the party, but also made the NPF-led DAN government stronger,” stated a press note issued by its vice president Timir Choudhury.
The note stated that the NPF Dimapur division also hopes that the NCP party units in Nagaland would also do the same in the days to come and strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to run a “smooth and strong government, which is working for the upliftment of the people of the state”. While welcoming them to the NPF fold, the party also wishes them to continue to work with the same zeal in the larger interest of the party and the people of Nagaland, it added.

NPF Wokha
The NPF Party functionaries of Wokha Division hails the merger of NCP with NPF along with the elected legislators namely Dr. Chumben Murry, minister for Agriculture and Pangnyu Phom, parliamentary secretary for rural development.
The party in a press release said that such wise political decision in joining the NPF Party is widely acclaimed and appreciated by one and all which will not only strengthen the present Government led by Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland, but would have positive impact on the over-all political health in the state. The Party expresses its profound gratefulness to Dr. Chumben Murry, minister for agriculture as the present merger has brought the elected legislators in Wokha division into one fold which itself has created a new history and moral boosting.
