MLA & Secretary General of the Naga Peoples Front (NPF), Achumbemo Kikon today said that the party has matured in their 6 decades of existence and has become a well respected party due to the foundation laid by pioneers through firm principles and commitment.
Kikon was speaking at the Central Executive Council Meeting (CEC) of the Naga People's Front (NPF) held at NPF Central Headquarters, Kohima. He also lauded the services rendered by NPF President, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu for whom, the party under his leadership, has made progress this far.
Kikon urged the party workers not to be carried away by other motives which are temporal but set goals based on what the pioneers had planted at the beginning.
In a short speech, Manipur, MLA & Treasurer (MSU-NPF) K Leishiyo encouraged the party workers to expand their idea, aims and objectives and lead the young people to achieve their goal and not take the challenges of the past as stumbling blocks. Working President, Pusazo Luruo said even after six decades of existence, the stance of NPF has remained unchanged.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Vice President, Yangerlemba and Invocation Prayer was pronounced by Vice President Tsümongo Ovung, President, Mon Division, Chingyem Konyak pronounced the vote of thanks.
