Waromung, July 6 (MExN): The NPF Waromung Unit under the 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency on July 2 last convened a consultative party meeting, which witnessed the participation of a large number of leaders and members from previously opposing political camps, reflecting a growing spirit of reconciliation and unity in Waromung village.
NPF Waromung Unit, 29 Jangpetkong A/C in a press release stated that the meeting, held under the leadership of Unit President Imkongsashi, saw members unanimously “resolve to forgive and put behind all differences that existed prior to the NPF-NDPP merger.”
The gathering pledged its unified support to sitting MLA Temjenmenba for the forthcoming Assembly election and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the party organization at the grassroots level through active participation, effective mobilisation and sustained engagement with the electorate.
Members expressed confidence that unity, discipline and coordinated efforts would consolidate the party's position across the constituency and enhance its electoral prospects.
The meeting concluded with all members taking a renewed pledge to remain united, uphold the party's vision, and work tirelessly to ensure a resounding victory for the NPF in the upcoming election.
