The NPF Youth 32 Atoizu A/C demands the vice president of NPF central office, Atovi to step down on moral grounds for indulging in anti-party activities during the recently concluded state general elections. Instead of supporting and working for NPF official candidate of the constituency, Doshehe Y. Sema, he (Atovi) openly supported the Independent candidate.
If Atovi were to support the Independent candidate, as a sensible and responsible leader, he should have resigned from the party before elections in order to go against the official candidate set up by the NPF. Atovi should now resign on moral grounds from the party before any disciplinary action is taken against him by the NPF Disciplinary Action Committee. We urge the Disciplinary Action Committee of the party to take stringent disciplinary actions on him for indulging in anti-party activities. This would also act as a deterrent for other would-be anti-party members.
