Seyochung, February 18 (MExN): National People’s Party (NPP) candidate for 59 AC Seyochung-Sitimi AC, C Kipili Sangtam while addressing the NPP rally held at Seyochung town on February 18 stated that ‘community and public interest’ would be two most important priorities if elected.
“Administration is another important aspect,” he said and added that government job cannot be made accessible to all unemployed youths; therefore, his priority will be to give maximum benefit to young people through different schemes and projects.
Kipili said that one should be wise and select a wise leader and urged the public to pray for a better and honest leader in this election. “As a Christian once we promise anything is life we should not go against it,” he said.
Speaking at the rally, NPP Nagaland President, Andrew Ahoto said, “so far the best development in the NE region is from Meghalaya state, this is possible only because of our leader and National President Sangma.”
“NPP sees Kipili as a senior politician; therefore, he will be on a good ground when the government is formed,” he added.
