DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Police Retired Officers’ Association (NPROA) held its 6th annual general meeting on October 25 at Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Choümukedima.

Around 45 members attended the meeting with representatives from Assam, Manipur and West Bengal, with Rüvilhou Angami, Retd NPS as the senior most attendee whose is aged 88.

The meeting began with an invocation by Nrilo Himb, Retd NPS and the programme led by Imsu Sungit Ao, Retd NPS. Welcome speech was given by I Bendang Ao, Retd NPS, President NPROA.

An exhortation was given by V Solo, Retd NPS and the secretary report was given by T Chaya, Retd NPS.

MK Baruah, Retd NPS; SM Singh, Retd NPS and others took time during the voluntary speech hour with various agendas being discussed by the members for the upliftment of the association along with fond memories shared during the meeting.

Treasurer Report was given by NS Rengma, Retd NPS and the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Agwanye Seb, Retd NPS and Barakhana sponsored by Rothihu Tetseo, IPS, Commissioner of Police.
