NPSC clarifies on flawed questions

Kohima, sept 19 (mexn): K Nzimongo Ngullie, Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission has stated that verification on the examples of questions in the NPSC Main Examinations has been made.
“The matter has been verified and it was found that except two questions regarding languages in the VIII-schedule and population density (both for NCS Mains Examination) all other questions have been correctly set,” he said in a release. The two questions will be deleted from the number of questions and no marks will be awarded for the same so that no candidates suffer, Ngullie added. “As far as spelling mistakes are concerned this was because of the shortage of time given to the question setters and shortages of time for proof reading before the questions were printed,” he clarified.

Persons who have written the letters in the newspapers and whose names are given below may contact the Secretary for any further clarification on or before September 24 failing which, Ngullie said, the letters will be treated as pseudonymous. The persons who are to contact the Secretary are Toshi Imchen, James Kikon, Kevi Angami, Vikto Achumi, Unuzo Chakhesang, M Longkumer and KK John.
