NPYC supports NPCC’s demand for President's Rule

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) has endorsed the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee’s (NPCC) demands that the Governor dismiss the present government and impose President’s Rule (PR). A press statement from the NPYC also called for the conduct of early elections so that the people can give a “fresh mandate” and resolve the ongoing impasse.

The Youth Congress also voiced support for the NPCC’s demand for resignation of Roads & Bridges Minister, Vikheho Swu. It also demanded that the government initiate a thorough probe in the bridge collapse incident and book those responsible.

Further, the NPYC questioned the Governor of Nagaland for remaining silent in the cases relating to MKR Pillai, PDS Scheme and fuel adulteration. Asserting that the Governor should not remain a “silent spectator”, the Youth Congress urged the Governor to immediately intervene and deliver justice.
