Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): Beneficiaries of National Social Assistance Programme Scheme in Peren district have been informed that the payment for those under non-DBT list will be disbursed through cash payment.
In this connection, Peren District Welfare Officer I Tsungrosongla Ao issued a circular through the state DIPR, that it covers payment of pension under NSAP Schemes for six months for those beneficiaries under non- DBT list. Along with payment of state old age pension for six months, payment of National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS), state based blind and invalid scheme, state additional disabled list 2017-18, state based scholarship for disable students would be done in Jalukie on February 7; Peren February 10; Tenning February 13; Athibung on February 16; and Nsong on February 17.
NSAP beneficiaries have been directed to bring their photocopy of Aadhaar and Bank Account without which payment will not be entertained. In addition, the DWO has also informed all widow pensioners to compulsorily produce a letter from the local priest or pastor declaring that the beneficiary as a widow without which payment would not be done.
Beneficiaries falling under all disabled scheme including NSAP and State are to produce a copy of disable certificate and UDID is mandatory to authenticate the beneficiary. The DWO also notified that no requests would be entertained during payment in case of failure to comply to the terms.
