DIMAPUR, MARCH 6 (MExN): The Commander of the Dimapur Town Command of the NSCN (I-M), ‘Major’ Yakuto, has appealed to “all people in around Dimapur to acknowledge the following points of information.”
• Surprise vehicle checking will be carried out and vehicles without number plates shall be sternly dealt with.
• ‘National workers’ or public, whoever, if found involved campaigning with arms for the forthcoming election, shall be dealt with stern action.
• Any party camping for the forthcoming election is appealed to avoid late party camping, giving inconveniences to the public, so that leniency prevails.
• ‘National Workers, both Army and Civil,’ whosoever found drinking alcohol in restaurants or hotels shall be arrested and necessary action shall be initiated upon as per the ‘Azha.’
The “decree of information” comes into effect from March 6.
