Dimapur, Jan 12 (MExN): In reaction to news reports of its involvement in the Shamator dispute, the NSCN-IM clarifies that there is ‘no directive or inclination of the NSCN/GPRN to involve itself in inciting, abetting or supporting communalism or divisionism within the Naga social fabric’.
“If the allegations of NSCN/GPRN officials being involved in their own individual capacities are true, the NSCN/GPRN requests the concerned to intimate the concerned authorities for verification and reformative measures to be initiated,” an MIP release from the NSCN-IM’s ‘Assistant Section Officer,’ Adam, stated.
Stating that it had been appealing time and again, for “harmonious diplomatic approaches through peaceful logical negotiations in all civil temperaments” to bring about amicable settlement to all differences, the NSCN-IM advised not to be impulsively swayed by “adverse propagandas.”
Harmonious living of the Naga family, brotherhood, culture, tradition, customs and ethnicity will be upheld at all costs against all divisionism, communalisms and adversities, the NSCN-IM assured.
