Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The Convener, Steering Committee NSCN (IM) Ashiho Asoumai has expressed sadness over the sudden demise of Lieut. Col (Retd ) Pukhato Swu, Steering Committee, NSCN on July 25 in Shesulimi after a prolonged illness.
Late Swu was a dedicated man who loved “Naga Nation and displayed his patriotic spirit till his last breath,” the Covenor said. “He gave his service for the Naga Nation from the year 1963 and served the Nation till the last moment of his life. The void created by his demise will be difficult to fill in.”
“NSCN expresses heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and his close friends. It is our prayer that God will take care of them and comfort them at this hour of grief. May the Almighty God grant peaceful rest to the departed soul,” stated the Convener in a condolence message to Anna Swu, the wife of late Swu, Shestilimi.
