DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 2 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has condemned the armed bank robbery that took place in Ukhrul, Manipur on November 30. A gang of armed men had looted cash estimated to be over Rs 18 cr from the Ukhrul branch of the Punjab National Bank. While stating that it was shocked to learn of the incident, it said that the robbery was bound to have negative impact on the socio-economic health of Ukhrul district. “The dastardly crime we condemn in the strongest words. Every possible angle should be studied to identify the perpetrators and justice be meted out,” stated the note issued by its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP).
