Dimapur, June 6 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Isaac Saka of the Moba Brigade, Naga Army who passed away on June 5.
According to a condolence note issued by the NSCN (IM) MIP on Sunday, Isaac Saka hailed from Yamolching village under Khurmi Region and enrolled in the Naga national service on January 26, 2016. “He served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all,” it stated.
It further stated that the “Adjutant General, Naga Army has bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of Corporal on June 5, 2021 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation,” while conveying condolences to the bereaved family members.
