Dimapur, October 5 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of Y Tsipithsing Sangtam, Kilonser, GPRN, from Singrup village under United Sangtam Region on October 4.
“We are disheartened and in deep anguish express our sincere condolences to the departed soul and extend our deepest sympathies to the bereaved family. He was a man of strong character and determination, who served the nation in various capacities with due sincerity and faithfulness. His steadfast contribution to the nation will always be remembered,” Rh Raising, Member of Collective Leadership cum care-taker of Ministry of Kilo (Home) Affairs of NSCN (IM) stated in a press note.
He also prayed for his soul rest in peace and offered prayers to the Almighty God to comfort the near and dear.
Eastern Naga National Workers Union (ENNWU) has also mourned the demise of Y Tsipithsing Sangtam. The union in a press release issued by Moba Chang, CLM & Convener, ENNWU said that he joined the Naga National Movement on December 6, 2011 and served to the fullest capacity till his last breath. “He was also a man of integrity who always stood fast to the call of the needs. Indeed, we have lost a patriotic man whose selfless service to the Naga Nation will be remembered by one and all. The void left behind by his untimely demised will be hard to fill in the days to come.”
ENNWU conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed that Almighty God will grant solace to the departed soul.
