Dimapur, November 13 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of 2nd Lieutenant Subenthung Kikon of the General Field Training Head Quarters, Naga Army, on November 4 in Wokha. He enrolled for the national service on August 29, 2012, informed a condolence message from MIP, NSCN (IM).
It further mourned the demise of Lydia Gangmei (Tatar status), wife of ZD Bon (Executive Member, Steering Committee) from Zeilad (Zeliangrong) Region on November 12 in Imphal. Enrolled as a member of NSWON (National Socialist Women's organization of Nagalim) on February 7, 2007, she served as the Vice-Chairperson of NSWON Zeliangrong Region from 2008-2009, followed by Central Executive Member of NSWON from 2010-2011. She was elevated to the Tatar status in July, 2017.
“They are down to earth & remained dedicated to the national service until their demise. Their contribution to the national cause shall ever be cherished,” the message read. It extended sympathy and condolence to the near & dear ones of the departed national workers.
