Dimapur, Jan 13 (MExN): The NSCN-IM maintains that it is not involved in the assassination bid on Dr Moangwati and that the “false allegations” are mere speculations of “desperados” to taint the image of the organization. An MIP release stated that the GPRN is against all “such inhuman acts of killings, especially a doctor who attends to the recovery and treatment of human lives”.
If ever the allegations are true, concrete evidence in support of the claims should be submitted to the NSCN-IM authorities for verification and “judicial execution”, stated the note issued by Adambo, ‘Assistant Section Officer’ of the NSCN-IM. “It is appealed to the people that one should not be swayed by such misleading propagandas aimed with hopes to gain political leverage and smear the image of the NSCN/GPRN” it stated.
