DIMAPUR, AUGUST 26 (MExN): Formerly Y Wangtin Konyak, Central Council Member of the NSCN (K) has now changed his name to Y Wangtin Naga, the NSCN (K) leader stated in a press note informing of his change in name. “The clean thought and feeling of oneness of all Nagas, my original name is slightly changed keeping silent of what my community is”, Wangtin Naga stated. Pointing out that tribalism, clanism and communalism created division among the Nagas, Wangtin stated that he as a national worker wanted that he should not have special inclination towards a particular tribe including his own tribe. “Thus my name popularly known as Y Wangtin Konyak must henceforth be called Y Wangtin Naga”, it was stated.
