Dimapur, March 11 (MExN): The NSCN-K says it is an act of mockery on the part of the NSCN-IM to “make an issue out of people’s army” as a note from the outfit stated that Nagas should not be expected to sympathize with the NSCN-IM’s “crocodile tears” when its cadres are committing atrocities.
“It is indeed an act of self-mockery on the part of IK for zealously trying to make an issue out of People’s Army, NSCN exaction of penalty on proclaimed traitor Sgt.Maj Kakiho Sumi who had been instrumental in fomenting violence and gun battles between NSCN and IK in and around Chumukedima and Dimapur for the last several months resulting in loss of precious Naga lives, chaos and insecurity etc.” the NSCN-K stated and queried if the Nagas should be expected to sympathize “your crocodile tears when your gang continues to murder even the blameless and innocent sections?”
Mentioning the deaths of the two Konyak youths at Kohima, six family members at Pungro, deaths of Vikuto Sumi at Hebron and a father Ahoto Assumi, at Kohima, and of FGN’s education Kilonser at Kohima etc. the NCSN-K stated that such “countless inhuman atrocities perpetrated upon the Nagas for over one and half decade by IK would not go unaccounted”.
Loss of one innocent Naga life is too precious and that sacrifice can never ever be compared to execution of traitor, it added.
