Dimapur, October 12 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) held a ‘courtesy meet’ with the new Chairman of the Cease Fire Supervisory Board (CFSB) and Ceasefire Monitoring Cell (CFMC), Lt. Gen (Retd) Amarjeet Singh Bedi at Chümoukedima Police Complex on October 12.

“Since it was a courtesy call, no agendas were discussed, but both parties agreed in principle to continue to maintaining the sanctity of the CFGR (Ceasefire Ground Rules),” the NSCN (R) said in a statement issued through its Ministry of Information & Publicity.

It said that both parties exuded 'optimism and confidence' to work in co-ordination to sort out matters pertaining to the ceasefire, “and to keep check and sort out any inadvertent errors that may arise from both the security forces and the NSCN sides.”

The NSCN (R) was represented by CFSB Supervisor Dr Amento Chishi and members Amento Chophi, Muzuvoyi Puro, Mughato Chophi and Inaki Zhimomi, the release stated.
