NSCN (R) mourns

Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The President of NSCN (Reformation) Y Wangtin Naga has expressed sadness over the sudden and unfortunate demise of Lemba Konyak CCM/Tatar (Central Council Member) on July 29, after a prolonged illness.

“Late Lemba joined the Naga National Movement in 2015 and through his sheer conviction and dedication was inducted into CCM/Tatar and was one of the signatory in signing Ceasefire agreement with GoI,” informed  a press release from MIP, NSCN (R).

“Though his stint as a National Worker was short, yet his contributions were unparalleled, peerless and unfathomable, who possessed patriotic spirit in his own right,” it said,

The lost of a gallant and a promising leader with “potential to lead and uphold the peoples' dreams and aspirations,” has caused a huge void to the NSCN (R) in particular and the Nagas in general, it added.

The President further invoked God’s grace to provide solace to his family members and friends during their time of grief, and prayers of eternal peace for the departed soul.
