DIMAPUR, JUNE 1 (MExN): The Naga Students Federation (NSF) has directed all the federating units and subordinate bodies of the federation to hoist black flags at their respective headquarters to protest the failure of the concerned authorities to book those responsible for the demolition of the federation’s office despite the lapse of 5 days. A directive issued by the NSF said that “this is to democratically express our resentment against the inaction of the authorities concerned despite the perpetrators publicly claiming responsibility for the crime.” Banners explaining the reason as to why the flag is hoisted should also be put up, it directed. “This exercise shall continue until befitting actions are initiated by the authorities against the culprits involved in the criminal act,” the NSF added.
