NSF, ENSF remind State govt to streamline SSA, RMSA teachers

DIMAPUR, APRIL 7 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) and Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) have reminded the Nagaland Government to streamline and rationalize SSA and RMSA teachers of 2010 and 2013 batches before the expiry of the set deadline.

A joint statement from the two federations reminded the Nagaland Chief Secretary about the joint agreement between the NSF, ENSF and the State Government, wherein the latter through a notification dated October 2020 assured to put the matter to rest once and for all within 18 months. The federations informed that the waiting period of 18 months will expire on April 17 and reminded the State Government that no extension whatsoever will be entertained in solving this long pending issue.

They further stated that failure of the State Government to uphold the agreement shall compel the two federations to take up “befitting actions in the interest of the teaching community of the state.”
