NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy: MTYO to face Centurion FC in 1st semi finals today

MTYO Medziphema will face Centurion FC Kohima village in the first semi finals of the ongoing 20th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2019 here at Kohima Local Ground on October 16 at 1:30 PM.

During its road to semi finals, Centurion FC defeated Poimi Students' Union 5-1, Zodiac FC 2-0, Phezoucha Youth 3-0 and Chumu-Town Youth Organisation 1-0.

Medziphema Town Youth Organisation has meanwhile defeated Laimeisham FC Longleng 5-1, Jotsoma Youth Organisation 1-1 (Walk-over) and Naga-Hospital Colony Youth Organisation 3-0.

The other two semi finalists include Meriema Village Youth Organisation and Viswema FC. 

Meriema Village Youth Organisation had earlier defeated Fantastic 11 7-1, Jovial FC 8-0, Tyrants 6-1 and Kohima Village Students' Union 2-0.

Meanwhile, Viswema FC booked their spot by beating Kohima Science College, Jotsoma 4-3 (tie-break), Viphoma Youth Organisation 2-0 and Unity FC 2-1.

ASU Senior FC beat KBA

In an exhibition plated today, Angami Students’ Union (ASU) Senior FC today defeated Kohima Bar Association (KBA) 3-0.

Khrietuo opened the account for ASU Senior FC in the 49th minute while Seyieneilhou connected two goals for the team in 63rd and 74th minute.

Former NSF president, Vipopal Kintso was the match patron.
