NSF observes 66th Naga I-Day

Kohima,  August 14 (MExn): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) today observed the 66th Naga Independence Day at the Naga Solidarity Park here. NSF president Kelhouneizo Yhome in his speech said that this day is to remember the past leaders to had dream for a better future of the Nagas. Mutsikhoyo Yhobu, Tribunal General of NSF said that time has come to sow the seed the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation and to preserve the Naga identity. 

He said that the celebration of the Naga Independence Day is to focus of the past Naga leader to expose the vision of the future. 

Former NSF President Achumbemo Kikon in his speech said the celebration of Naga ID to support all section of Nagas and to remember the past generations, who concept the ideas for celebrating the day for the future of the Nagas. He appealed to all to create the nationalism by truthfulness and respect to each others. 

He also emphasized on the need for a broader discussion among all sections on the present situation. 
Also speaking on the occasion, former NSF leaders G. Vasum, Vikheho Sumi, Vipopal Kintso and Inaka Assumi stressed on celebrating the Naga Independence Day to remember the past Naga leader for their sacrifices and dedications for the future generations. 

They also informed the present NSF body that they have to take challenges coming in various forms on the Nagas in near future and to bond the unity among all sections of Nagas.
