Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation has called on the Nagaland Directorate of Rural Development Blocks and the Department of Power to requisition vacant posts to the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).
Separate letters to the Director, RD and Engineer-in-Chief, Power were submitted on Wednesday.
In the case of the Rural Development department, NSF President, Kegwayhun Tep referred to a notification (No. DRD/ESTT/RECT/Gr-III/1/2020/263) issued by the Directorate of Rural Development Blocks through which 22 posts of LDA-cum-Computer Assistant (District Level) were advertised on February 10, 2020.
Similarly, it said that 16 posts of LDA- cum- Computer Assistant (District) were advertised on September 11, 2019 as per a notification (No. ENCP/DE&IC/2019/2418), issued by the Department of Power.
Stating that the aforementioned posts fall under the purview of Nagaland Staff Selection Board, the NSF appealed to the head of departments to immediately requisition the posts for recruitment under the Board.
“Further, the department concerned is also requested to reimburse the Application Fee to all the applicants who have already applied for the same,” it stated in both the letters.
