
KOHIMA, DECEMBER 20 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed that it will be vacating its office at Naga Club building and will be shifting to Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima.
It stated that the move is being made as per the letter received from the office of the Angami Public Organization and Kohima Village Council dated December 9 to vacate the NSF office at Naga Club building by December 31 and also the resolution adopted by the Federal Assembly on December 14.
The Federation also placed on public record that the office of the APO will remain the custodian of the Naga Club building until an “honourable closure to the imbroglio, inclusive of all Nagas, is brought about.”
“In the spirit of unity and with a steadfast commitment to the collective well-being of the Naga people, the NSF looks forward to a harmonious resolution that preserves the historical significance of the Naga Club building and fosters a shared sense of heritage and identity across the Naga homeland,” a press statement from the Federation read.
Meanwhile, in a separate press release, the Federation said its office will remain closed from December 21 to January 10, 2024.
It stated that while the office will remain closed during the said period, it remains committed to providing assistance and information.
