Asufü Football Academy today downed Circle FC Chedema to secure final berth of the ongoing 24th NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2024 organized by Angami Students’ Union at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
In the second semi finals played here today, Asufü Football Academy defeated Circle FC Chedema 2-1.
Bijoy Moktan and P. Sorormi Thinsang connected a goal each for Asufü Football Academy.
A lone goal for Circle FC came through V S Zimik.
With today’s win, Asufü Football Academy will now face Sechii Zubza FC in the grand finale on October 5.
Gachiiwo S Tara of Asufü Football Academy was declared as the player of the match and honoured by Neingutoulie Kengurüse, Councillor Ward 2, Dimapur Municipal Council.
J V Kelio performed a guest artist.
Meanwhile, the grand finale will take place on October 5 at 1:00 PM at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
Nagaland’s power & parliamentary affairs minister K.G. Kenye will grace the occasion as the special guest.
