Kuki United FC and Anal Lenruwl Tangpi today registered wins in their respective pre-quarter match and secured quarter finals berth of the ongoing 25th Anniversary Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Kuki United FC blanked visiting team Delhi Police 2-0 in the 7th pre-quarter final match. Lunaldo Kuki netted both the goals for Kuki United FC in the 23rd and 48th minute. Lunaldo Kuki of Kuki United FC bagged “Player of the Match” and the award was handed over by Neisavotuo Whuorie, vice president, Angami Sports’ Association.

Ketoulhou Metha, OSD Finance, Govt. of Nagaland was the match patron.

Meanwhile, Anal Lenruwl Tangpi defeated Nagaland Police 3-0 in the last pre-quarters final match. Kagaly connected the first goal for Anal Lenruwl Tangpi in the 48 minute. Winkle and Changkingam added a goal each in the 61st and 90th minute respectively.

Match Patron Vimhalie Pienyü, Councillor, Kohima Municipal Council handed over “Player of the Match” award to Winkle of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi.

Chedema Village Youth Organisation’s (CVYO) exceptional form throughout the tournament secured their place in the quarterfinals with dominant performances in every match.

• CVYO vs United Brothers FC: 7 – 1
• CVYO vs Rever Gantok SC: 4 – 0

With an impressive attacking record and a strong defensive line, CVYO enters the quarterfinals scoring 20 goals and conceding only 1 goal.

Former champions Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) were placed directly in the pre-quarterfinal stage, where they began their campaign in confident fashion.

Their solid debut match performance earned them a well-deserved spot in the quarterfinals, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter ahead.
