NSF warns against exam disturbance

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), in a press release from its General Secretary E. Ejanthung Ngullie, has expressed anguish over the “unremitted post poll violence reportedly creating environmental and physiological disturbances” to students during the ensuing HSLC and HSSLC examinations. In this regard, the Federation has cautioned individuals or supporters of all political parties that “consequent action shall be explicitly initiated against such concerned involved in violent behavior in the interest of the students’ community”. 

The NSF, in this regard, has directed all its federal units to be “vigilant in creating peaceful and congenial environment in all their respective headquarters and student examination’s occupied vicinity”. The students’ body has also sought cooperation from the society in anticipation of better academic results from the students.

The NSF has also congratulated the DAN government, under the leadership of Shurhozelie Liezietsu and Neiphiu Rio, for securing a majority in the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election. In the press release, the NSF has asked all elected ministers, parliamentarians and every responsible legislator to embody a “spirit of one Nagas and pro-people’s welfare”. Additionally, the Federation has congratulated Dr. S.C. Jamir for being appointed as the Governor of Odisha and wished him all the best while delivering his service to the country.
