
Kohima, June 20 (MExN): The Headmasters and Assistant Headmasters of Government High Schools, Nagaland held an emergency meeting on June 15, 2013 at ANSTA Guest House Kohima. A press note issued by Kevitsiano Luho, secretary Mezhü-u Hozoyeh, convener informed that altogether 68 members attended the meeting and deliberated matters relating to anomalies found in the system, irregularities of service matters and disproportionate post upgradation in the Department of School Education.
It was stated that the members decided to form a forum as a platform to voice out the plight and grievances of its members to the higher authorities. A forum with its nomenclature as Nagaland Secondary School Field Officers Forum (NSSFOF) was formed and its office bearers were selected for tenure of three years from May 15, 2013 to June 15, 2016.
The members of the forum consist of JEO/AHM/HM/ (High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools, Office). The note mentioned that membership fee will be collected by the district representative. All have been requested to pay Rs. 500/- only to the respective representatives as one time membership fee for a tenure on or before July 15, 2013. This forum is a branch of ANSEAOA and therefore will fully support and stand firm with the parent association and will support ANSTA. The forum is formed to voice out the grievances and to protect the rights of its members from further humiliation and discrimination which is uncalled for, it added.
The forum further affirmed it stands for justice/promotion on seniority basis/against supersession. The members of the forum consist of JEO/AHM/HM “who are the torch bearers of the department but are the most humiliated and depreciated group in the department”, the press release stated. The forum in the note also congratulated all the government schools which produced cent percent passed result in the HSLC Examination 2013.
The note mentioned that Mezhü-u Hozoyeh from GHSS, Jotsoma was elected the convener Kevitsiano Luho from GHS, Khuzama as member secretary and Chipeni Merry from GHSS, Phek as treasurer. Also district representatives will be: Nyamo Lotha, AHM Mon, Lima Aier, HM Mokokchung, Bahauddin, HM Tuensang, Wolachu, HM Kohima Thungchio, AHM Dimapur Neilhouzhü, AHM Phek, Rotokha, HM Zunheboto Robert, AHM Kiphire, Heisui Thou, AHM Peren, S.Kikon, HM Longleng Wobenthung, AHM Wokha.
