Tseminyu, July 15 (MExN): The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd. Tseminyu Branch has adopted Nsunyu Village as the Golden Village on July 12 in commemoration of its Golden Jubilee which is to be held in the month of November 2017 at its Head Office Complex Dimapur.
Speaking at the programme, Tseminyu Branch Manager Puhovil Tsukru appealed to the adopted villager to initiate gigantic deposits and drastic recovery of NPA loans if any in the area, those adopted villages in the entire state who have outstanding contribution in the field of best Non Performing Assets (NPA) loan recoveries, highest deposits, highest formation of SHG, JLG, KCC & GCC etc shall be awarded during its celebration.
Resource person, Keduseho Sale Sr. field officer from Kohima Main Branch highlighted various loan facilities available and undertaken by the Bank and asked the rural farmers to avail the opportunity through the Golden Village schemes with enthusiastic and entrepreneurship motive for self- sufficiency of agriculture and allied sectors in a sustainable way.

Kevi Hibo while giving detailed concept of formation of SHG, JLG & KCC stressed on the need to encourage one another in approaching the bank where their needs can be addressed to if it is genuine, sharing on the importance of financial planning, he said proper financial planning helps us to differentiate the essential and non- essential expenditures, Hibo also brief the participants the different types of accounts and its benefits that is accompanied with it and also spoke on the significance digital banking and sensitised the participants to adopt.
A press note stated that the programme was chaired by Jesse Seb Chairman Nsunyu Village, while invocation prayer and welcome address was pronounced by Nyiwale Thong Associate Pastress Nsunyu Baptist Church and Caleb Magh Nsunyu youth President. It concluded with signing of MOU by the Village Council Chairman Jesse Seb, Tseminyu t Branch Manager Puhovil Tsukru witnessed by the village Secretary Yaskha Magh and Asst. Manager Tali Ao and vote of thanks proposed by Yaskha Magh.
